Going Green at the Workplace
Typically many people throughout the world strive to conserve energy at home, but toss the "green thinking" aside as soon as they arrive at the office. The thought that it's okay to waste resources as long as you don't have to pay for them needs to be diminished. A greener workplace can not only help the environment, but also create a healthier and more productive workplace. Actions that benefit only yourself need to be monitored such as printing out fifty pages of notes to read on the bus or grabbing a wad of ten napkins in the cafeteria. Even ignoring little things in the office such as a toilet with a running flush just waiting for maintenance to acknowledge it can waste valuable resources. Small considerations such as these can benefit you and your families well- being and also help make the Earth a better place for future generations.

Our auto habits have caused increasing dependency on oil imports, much of it coming from unstable parts of the world.
